Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data — name, email, password (hashed), and profile preferences.
• Creator profile data — display name, username, country, and profile image.
• Connected social accounts — handles, account IDs, and authorization tokens for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, when you connect those accounts.
• Submitted videos — URLs of videos you submit to campaigns and metadata returned by the source platform (post date, video ID, public title).
• Public engagement metrics — view counts, likes, comments, and shares on submitted videos, fetched periodically from the source platform.
• Payout information — bank or wallet details required to issue payments, processed by our payment partners (Stripe, Circle).
• Usage data — standard server logs, device and browser information, and interaction events used for security and product improvement.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and provide the Service.
• Calculate creator payouts based on the public engagement of submitted videos.
• Verify creator identity and prevent fraudulent submissions.
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

When you connect a social account, we request only the permissions needed to read public information about videos you submit to campaigns. Specifically:

• TikTok — we use the TikTok Display API to read basic profile information and the public statistics (views, likes, comments, shares) of videos you submit. We do not post on your behalf, send messages, or access your private content.
• YouTube — we use the YouTube Data API to read public statistics of videos you submit. We do not modify your channel.
• Instagram — we use the Instagram Graph API to read public statistics of videos you submit from a connected Business or Creator account.

You may revoke our access at any time from your account settings on the respective platform; doing so will stop view tracking for any videos you have submitted.

We share information only as follows:

• With brands you submit content to — your display name, username, country, profile image, the videos you submitted to their campaigns, and the engagement metrics for those videos.
• With service providers — Supabase (data storage), Stripe and Circle (payments), and similar processors strictly to provide the Service.
• For legal reasons — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share data with advertisers.

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support audits, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Engagement metrics and payout records are retained as part of an immutable financial audit trail and may not be deleted on request, though they will be disassociated from your public profile if you close your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@faceiqlabs.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is fully secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18, and accounts identified as belonging to a minor will be terminated.

Clipify is operated from the United States. If you are using the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email at least seven days before they take effect.
